Most Expensive Homes For Sale in New Mexico
Reposted from Property Shark | June 13, 2018
A land of vibrant culture, rich architecture and unparalleled natural landscape, New Mexico’s real estate market is booming. April homes sales were up 40% year-over-year, while median prices grew nearly 10% over the same period, according to the latest data from the REALTORS Association of New Mexico. Santa Fe in particular is experiencing a real estate boom, ranking as the hottest global market for luxury second homes, per Christie’s International Real Estate, with sales volume in the luxury home category reaching pre-Recession levels.
As a result, it’s not surprising that the majority of New Mexico’s most expensive homes for sale right now are located in vibrant Santa Fe. Ranging in price between $4,500,000 and $13,650,000, these luxurious estates showcase exquisite Pueblo architecture and art, with kiva fireplaces a must. Views of the Sangre de Cristo and Jimenez Mountains, guest houses, pools, portales are also popular, along with equestrian facilities, country kitchens, art spaces and sprawling acreages.
As for the #1 most expensive home for sale in New Mexico right now, that luxurious home showcases an Addison Mizner-inspired library, 13 fireplaces, a private bridge and decadent dual master suites basking in uninterrupted views of the Sangre de Cristo.
